Garden Weavings was the second exhibition of work by Oxfordshire Basketmakers. It took place in the lovely surroundings of the Turrill Sculpture Garden, Oxford during March and April 2005 and included the building of a group structure known as the great 'pod' along with outdoor activities for adults and children. Members held a co-operative day beforehand to rehearse the projects planned for the family drop-in day. During the last two weeks of the exhibition, we had use of a display case in the Summertown Library in Oxford which we put to good use with a selection of basketry related books, photographs and, of course, baskets.
